Boarding Time! – Golden Princess
Today our cruise begins. We couldn’t get over how great it was to literally walk across the street to our port! We got up, had a leisurely breakfast at Starbucks, did a little people watching, and then it was time to check out of our hotel and walk over to the ship. Because we are Platinum members, we were able to board early and explore the ship until our room was ready. We were in the Caribe Suite – which was an amazing room. We had a lovely view of the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House from our balcony too. Our suite was at the very back of the ship!

Ahh – our balcony and our lounge chairs. We enjoyed many relaxing hours gazing out to sea, and reading on those!

And off we go toward Melbourne! We have two days at sea before we arrive. We didn’t take many photos while we were relaxing at sea, so we’ll skip to our arrival in Melbourne….
