December 31 – Bridgetown, Barbados (New Year’s Eve!)
Today’s excursion was going on an Atlantis Submarine. Adam and Susan had been on one before in Hawaii, but this one was fun too. It was a very hot and humid day, so it was nice to go in the coolness of the submarine.
After we returned to the ship, it was New Year’s Eve – and time to dress up in or formal attire for the New Year’s Eve Party! The party was originally supposed to be up top on the pool deck but the weather prediction was for wind so they hastily moved it to one of the lounges – which was way too crowded – but we still had fun ringing in the new year!

Lots of other cruise ships in port today!

In the terminal was a nice little mall area with duty-free shops and places to sit while we awaited our tour bus

Back at the terminal – they had a goofy Barbados monkey sign and of course we all had to try it!

Adam and Susan – doesn’t Adam look thrilled? He was a bit annoyed at how crowded it was in the tiny room where the party was. They had to move it there from the deck because they thought it was going to be too windy
